Note | The Foohey children went to the Central Catholic High School (CCHS) in Fort Wayne. They were involved in many school activites , including the school magazine, the "Echo".

Note | The link below is to a book about the Ku Klux Klan in Indiana and features Bill Foohey, Timothy's son, who went to Notre Dame. In it, it is stated that Timothy's family were evicted in Castlelyons, Cork and that he came to the USA with nothing and worked his way up.
It also says that he had nine children, when he had fifteen.
