| Note | Fergus Linehan said that the story he heard was that Bridget and Daniel eloped, due to her young age. TOS Oct 2009
She was between 19 and 20 when the eldest surviving child,(Mick) was born and Daniel was 25-26 (as per 1901 census).
Fergus' niece, Bridget Sheehy, said that they eloped to Newmarket-on-Fergus (12 miles from Limerick !).
Bridget also believed that Bridget had been a monitor in the School in Bunratty .
This was probably Clonmoney School, about a mile from Bunratty

Bridget O'Sullivan died Dec 11th 1937. in O'Curry St.
She was aged 77 years.
Removal to St Michael's Church and burial Mt. St Lawrence on
Dec 13th, 1937
She was buried in her sister's family Plot (Pc 72)
Also in the same plot are her son, Michael (Mick)and his wife, Elsie. And Michael's grandson, Peter Kenny, who died in McDonagh's Nursing Home on April 15, 1944, presumably an infant (TOS Dec 2016) |
